CCM Gloves
CCM looks to be adding to the successful and growing line of products they've made in the past couple years with a new Glove addition to their already stellar lineup of protective equipment.
Again the style of the glove is still very similar and presumably the fit will be the same too since the Crazy Lights were such a big hit.

Warrior Covert
Well as we know when equipment is usually released it is done in an order usually: Stick, Skate, Protective...Leading us to the following findings...
Warrior released the Covert line a little while back with much anticipation around the release. In the following video you'll see Vancouver Canucks Forward Alex Burrows talking about his Covert Stick. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=4u4I1IUxmls
Now after watching this video do you notice something different that Burrows is wearing? Take another look and you'll see that Burrows is wearing a different style glove then he has worn in the past, Possibly a Covert Glove?Another piece of equipment that caught my eye was the elbow pads, the pads don't look similar to any in the Warrior line right now and could also be a Covert Protective Line on the way.
So if a new Warrior Protective Line was released would you replace any of yours with it?How about those Gloves do you like the new look, or are you still a fan of the Franchise Gloves?

New Bauer Helmets
Bauer was busy at the Bauer Hockey World Experience this year introducing not only the APX2 Skates but a new Helmet line in which it partners with it's newest company Cascade.
The Following Statement is what Bauer Hockey released:
The BAUER IMS 11.0, IMS 9.0 and IMS 7.0 were unveiled and are the culmination of combined technologies from Bauer Hockey and Cascade Sports. The IMS 11.0 and IMS 7.0 feature Seven Technology and are designed to more effectively manage high and low direct energy transfers. The BAUER IMS 11.0 also features PORON® XRD™ for additional impact management and enhanced comfort. The IMS 9.0 features Vertex and PORON XRD for greater protection against linear energy impacts and uses the same shell as the BAUER RE-AKT for consumers that prefer a lower profile look with more aggressive styling.
Bauer has released their Re Akt helmet which many people love so is this another reason to switch Helmets?
In my opinion "NO" Bauer has taken the technology from the Re Akt and put it into a Cascade "Style" Helmet but if we receive any new information on these helmets we will let you know!
So will you be switching an old Bucket for a New IMS Bucket?
Will you keep your Re Akt or change to an IMS Helmet?

Bauer APX2 Skates

Bauer Supreme Upgraded Sticks
Well with the new Bauer Supreme TotalOne NXG Skates being released not that long ago it was only a matter of time before Bauer announced that they would also be releasing the "TotalOne NXG" Stick Line will be being released on September 21st.
With the new TotalOne NXG joining the Supreme Stick Line they will also be releasing a One.4-One.9 Sticks for beginner/entry-level players all the way to experienced players.
The Bauer TotalOne NXG is set to be released looking like this...
"Bauer Supreme TotalOne NXG Stick"
The reason I am writing this article is because what interested me about these particular sticks was that the Bauer Supreme One.9 Stick being released many players and coaches have been saying that the One.9 Stick was the most similar stick to a Bauer Supreme One95 Stick.
Now for those of you that got to use this stick I'm sure you'll agree that this is one of the best sticks ever made, or at least a close second to the Easton Synergy SE16.
Made in the day where Composite Sticks seemed to be unbreakable the Supreme One95 was a perfect balance between Power and Accuracy without sacrificing either it had great pass reception and could give a crisp, hard pass just as good as it could receive one.
I'm sure many players if given the opportunity would be using this stick again and I am excited to see what Bauer will be offering with the upcoming Bauer Supreme One.9 Stick and the rest of the new Supreme Line.
So will you be swapping out your twig for one of the new Supreme Sticks?
If you could bring the One 95 back would you?

Bauer Supreme TotalOne NXG Gloves and New Vapor Skates
A few weeks ago Bauer held their annual athlete summit.
They have all the players they sponsor or wear their equipment come to an event in which they do a skills competition and scrimmage.
Lots of pictures were taken and released in the process of this event and released by Bauer.
Which lead us to this first picture...
If you look at the Gloves that Jonathon Toews is wearing you will see written on the thumb "SUPREME TOTALONE NXG"
We can assume that in the coming year these gloves will replace the highly rated Bauer TotalOne Gloves. We don't have any ideas of new features of the gloves as Bauer has only released this photo of the Gloves and no other information.
Now the next photo was an accident that Bauer released that we had stumbled upon and made us begin to think...
Now if you look very closely you will see Patrick Kane wearing a Black Skate with some Red in it. These are the colours of the Vapor APX skate, Look even closer and you will see the same kind of design that the Vapor line has been using forever, the X-Rib technology which is the ridges on the APX Skate.
Now again this is only a Picture we have and Bauer has not released any new information on these skates or the technology they feature and if they will replace the APX Skates but we can assume that the new Nexus Line that was released and the TotalOne NXG replacing the TotalOne that the APX Line is next to be replaced by Bauer.
So do you like the new look of the "APX" skates? Can you see yourself getting rid of your old gloves for these new mitts?
We will release new information on the equipment when we learn more and stay tuned for more gear sightings and reviews (coming soon)

Easton RS 2
Rumors have been coming in about a possible new RS Stick from Easton.
After the Stealth (S19,S17) Line being criticized for its durability Easton, so to speak stepped up their game and came out with the RS and it's all black matte finish. Many people loved the pop in the stick and the great feel and of course not to mention the hard and quick shot release it had however, again many people had the same problem with the Easton Stealth RS as the did with the S19 or S17, The blade and bottom portion of the stick had a tendency to break quite easily with the most common break to be a crack along the bottom of the blade.
Easton RS 2 (Pictured Above)
Fast Forward to today and Easton on their twitter account (@Easton_Hockey) released the above photo...
Easton has not yet released any information on this other than that they will have a new addition to the Stealth Line this YEAR! We are set to assume that this stick has addressed these problems and has improved its durability but we will let you know when we know more about the RS 2.
Easton RS 2 (Pictured Above)
Update: We can now confirm that their will be a Easton RS 2 a few moments ago another photo was tweeted by an Easton intern, revealing that "The Easton RS 2 Best Stick I've ever used"
Here was the intern's tweet "2nd time using the RS ll. Best stick I've played with so far. Thanks to@Easton_Hockey for sending them too me#EAP"
Now we can only guess that the stick will look like this as an end product to be sold to the public however, don't be surprised if the cosmetics do slightly change as CCM did the same marketing with their RBZ and Gabriel Landeskog and the stick ended up going from all white to black, white and red. So the new question is do you like the new design and can you see yourself swapping out one of your twigs for this new Easton RS 2?
The Stick is set to be released sometime in September and we will keep you updated each time we hear something new!
Update 2: Easton Hockey has another new release on the stick saying it will be released September 7th and that they hope they have addressed the problems that were sustained with the S19/S17 (Break in lower part of shaft) and the RS (Break on the bottom of the blade)
